Semi-rural Canal-side Family Garden

The first project for my Professional Garden Design Diploma at the Cotswold Gardening School. This beautiful Grade II Listed building (the previous coach-house and granary store for the local Manor House) had striking arched windows in Cotswold Stone, but was heavily exposed to sun and wind, was overlooked, and lacked cohesion and purpose. The clients wanted plenty of space for entertaining, a focus on nature and productivity, and a children's play area. I created a Modern-Mediterranean garden, a nod to the birthplace of one of the clients- Provence. Inspired by the sea creatures and waves of the Mediterranean Sea.
